Tensions rising at Real Madrid as Spanish players reportedly frustrated with Arbeloa’s handling of star players

Internal tensions within Real Madrid have reached a boiling point, with a majority of the club’s Spanish players said to be deeply frustrated with manager Álvaro Arbeloa, according to journalist GuillermoRai.

Sources indicate that the Spanish contingent believes Arbeloa consistently prioritizes the team’s high-profile stars—making them “completely untouchable” regardless of their on-field performance—while denying opportunities to Spanish players.

The discontent has escalated in recent days, even with the season technically concluded. Players reportedly feel that Arbeloa continues to overlook them in favor of the star-studded names within the squad, leading to a fractured dressing room atmosphere.

Neither Arbeloa nor the club has issued a public response to the claims.
