Ronaldo marks injury return with brace as Al Nassr cruise to 5-2 victory

Cristiano Ronaldo made a emphatic return from injury on Saturday, scoring twice to lead Al Nassr to a commanding 5-2 win over Al Najma in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese forward, sidelined for several weeks, needed little time to rediscover his scoring touch. After a challenging first half in which Al Najma briefly took the lead, the home side responded swiftly with a flurry of goals to turn the match around before the break.

Following the restart, Al Najma managed to level the score once again, momentarily threatening Al Nassr’s control. However, Ronaldo stepped up at the decisive moment, calmly converting a penalty to restore the advantage before adding his second goal to seal the result.

The brace not only secured a comfortable victory for Al Nassr but also moved Ronaldo closer to another significant career milestone, adding to his already remarkable goal-scoring record.

Manager Luis Castro will view the forward’s immediate impact as a major boost to the club’s ambitions as they continue their push for top honors in the league this season. Fans and analysts alike praised Ronaldo’s performance, noting that his ability to deliver after time on the sidelines underscores his enduring class and importance to the team.

Al Nassr will look to build on the victory as the campaign progresses, with Ronaldo expected to play a central role in their pursuit of silverware.
