Real Madrid open to Camavinga exit as interest grows

Real Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, five years after his high-profile arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu, according to reports.

The French international’s future has become the subject of mounting speculation, with the Spanish giants signaling they could sanction a sale if a suitable proposal arrives during the upcoming transfer window.

Camavinga joined Madrid from Rennes in 2021 as one of Europe’s most highly rated young midfielders. However, he has struggled to lock down a consistent starting role in recent seasons, often deployed as a rotational option across several positions.

While his versatility and moments of brilliance have been evident, intensifying competition in Madrid’s midfield has curtailed his influence and cast doubt on his long-term future with the club.

Several top European sides are monitoring the situation, including Paris Saint-Germain and multiple clubs from the English Premier League. Interest is expected to firm if Madrid formally indicate Camavinga is available.

The La Liga champions are thought to hold the 23-year-old in high regard but may be willing to cash in as part of a broader squad restructuring aimed at sustaining domestic and European competitiveness.

Despite his peripheral role, Camavinga has enjoyed considerable success in the Spanish capital. He has contributed to major honours, including La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, while remaining a regular member of the French national team setup.

Yet with evolving tactical demands and fierce competition for places, his position at Madrid appears increasingly uncertain heading into the next transfer window.

The situation is expected to develop in the coming weeks as interested clubs weigh their options and Madrid decide whether to retain the talented midfielder or allow him to depart.
