President John Dramani Mahama has sent heartfelt New Year greetings to Ghanaians, expressing hope that 2026 will bring prosperity, peace, and progress to the nation.

In his New Year message, the President encouraged citizens to embrace hope, unity, and a collective commitment to national development as Ghana looks forward to the year ahead.

“May the new year, 2026, bring us all prosperity, peace, and progress,” he said.

Delivered shortly after the clock struck midnight, the remarks come at a time when many Ghanaians are reflecting on last year’s challenges while anticipating fresh opportunities for economic recovery, social cohesion, and inclusive growth.

The message highlights the importance of national solidarity and collective effort in achieving shared goals.

It also reaffirmed the government’s focus on fostering a stable and peaceful society, while implementing policies aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening Ghana’s democratic and development institutions.

As Ghanaians welcome 2026, the President’s message serves as a call for renewed dedication to hard work, unity, and optimism, with the hope that the year will deliver meaningful progress for individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole.
