Bishop Boxing Promotions celebrates one-year anniversary with ‘Best of Bukom 4’ Cruiserweight headliner

Bishop Boxing Promotions will mark its first anniversary on August 28, 2026, with a loaded fight card headlined by a cruiserweight clash between two of Ghana’s most accomplished champions.

Best of Bukom 4 will feature Obodai “The Miracle” Sai, a two-time WBO Africa champion, against WABU cruiserweight titleholder Haruna “Thunder” Mohammed. The matchup, billed as Miracle vs. Thunder, brings together two heavy-handed fighters in a duel with distinct heavyweight feel.

The undercard is expected to feature a mix of emerging prospects and seasoned veterans, with the promotion emphasizing tightly matched bouts designed to deliver high-stakes action throughout the evening.

According to a statement from Bishop Boxing Promotions, the event serves both as a premier fight night and a celebration of the company’s first year of operations, with a continued focus on showcasing Ghanaian talent on a broader stage.

Venue information has not yet been released. Promoters say they are finalizing a location capable of accommodating growing interest from diaspora and international guests. The event is presented by MaxTV.

“We envisioned a promotion that prioritizes consistency and opportunity,” said Dave Bishop, CEO of Bishop Boxing Promotions. “Best of Bukom 4 embodies that vision — decisive matchups, elite talent, and a platform that advances Ghana boxing. Our first year laid the foundation; this event builds on it.”
