At just 27, Achraf Hakimi completes legendary trophy collection: The Moroccan maestro who has won it all

In an era of tactical specialization and positional restraints, Achraf Hakimi stands as a glorious contradiction. The Moroccan fullback, still only 27 years old, has done what few footballers across history have managed: he has truly won everything.

Following Paris Saint-Germain’s dramatic penalty shootout victory over Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, Hakimi secured his third European crown. It is a feat that officially cements his status as the most decorated African footballer in the history of the game.

According to reports from Budapest, where PSG clinched the trophy, Hakimi has now lifted an astonishing 19 major trophies during his nomadic rise through Europe’s elite. This haul pushes him past the legendary figures of Samuel Eto’o and Yaya Touré, who both finished their careers with 18 titles .

A Global Collection

Hakimi’s trophy cabinet reads less like a standard footballer’s CV and more like a tour of the continent’s greatest dynasties.

Starting his journey at Real Madrid, the young Spaniard-born Moroccan immediately tasted the high life, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2018, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the Spanish Super Cup.

A loan spell at Borussia Dortmund added a German Super Cup to his collection, while a single, prolific season at Inter Milan resulted in the Serie A title. However, it is at Paris Saint-Germain where he has built his empire.

In the French capital, Hakimi has hoarded silverware:

· 5x Ligue 1 titles
· 4x French Super Cup (Trophée des Champions)
· 2x Coupe de France
· 2x UEFA Super Cup

With his latest UCL victory in Budapest, he adds his third Champions League winners’ medal, having previously won with Real Madrid and PSG in the 2024/25 season .

Beyond Europe, Hakimi has also conquered his homeland continent. Despite a controversial administrative ruling regarding the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations, Hakimi is officially credited with an AFCON title with Morocco, adding the final gem to his crown .

His 77 appearances in the Champions League now place him fourth on the all-time African list, trailing only icons Mohamed Salah (98), Didier Drogba (92), and Samuel Eto’o (78). Given his age and PSG’s dominance, he is expected to surpass those totals within two seasons .

At an age when most defenders are just entering their prime, Achraf Hakimi has nothing left to prove—and very little left to win.
