Trump briefly stumbles during emergency evacuation at White House Correspondents’ dinner following security scare

Former President Donald Trump briefly lost his balance while being rushed from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night after gunfire was heard near the venue, according to video footage circulating online.

Trump was unharmed and quickly regained his composure as security personnel escorted him to a secure location during the chaotic evacuation, authorities confirmed.

The incident unfolded when the sound of gunfire sparked panic at one of Washington’s most prominent annual political and media gatherings. Security teams immediately moved into position, prioritizing the evacuation of key guests including the former president.

Witnesses described scenes of confusion inside the venue as attendees reacted to the disturbance outside while law enforcement officers secured the area.

The footage capturing Trump’s momentary stumble has since gone viral, generating widespread discussion across social media platforms.

Security analysts note that rapid evacuations during emergencies frequently result in chaotic moments, as protection teams prioritize speed and safety over smooth movement.

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner traditionally draws journalists, politicians, entertainers, and invited guests from across the country. The event was reportedly interrupted as emergency procedures were carried out.

Authorities continue investigating the security scare and have promised to provide further updates as information becomes available.
